Prime Aero are delighted to be working in partnership with a major name in the Aviation sector and has been selected to undertake a large-scale recruitment campaign for a large number of Survival Equipment Technicians, located primarily within the Middle East Region. These opportunities have arisen due to planned organic growth and as such offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a proactive and diverse team. To apply for these positions, you will need to have an excellent command of the English language (written and verbal) ideally be Degree or High School Diploma educated and have the following; Ideally have at least 3 years previous Aerospace industry experience, ideally within an MRO. Mechanical / electrical background & aptitude. Experience with calibration equipment, blueprints, schematics, and precision measuring equipment preferred. Ability to work flexible hours and a willingness to assist other departments as necessary. Ability to read, understand and interpret Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM) and other repair manuals and technical data. What you will be doing: Performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on various aircraft components. Repairing, modifying, replacing or otherwise performing routine aircraft component maintenance, assisting shop floor repair as necessary to support our client’s customer requirements. Ensuring your allocated is completed in accordance with turnaround time requirements. Performing testing or mechanical operations on production/repair components including troubleshooting to component level. Inspecting and repairing components, equipment whilst ensuring compliance with the specific requirements of the Original Equipment Manufacturers’ (OEM) Component Maintenance/Overhaul Manuals. Receiving, stripping/cleaning/surveying/building/testing progressive/final/release inspection for the work to be approved by the Quality Department. Communicating effectively with other personnel at all levels by keeping co- workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise. Reading and interpreting manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification. Help with general clean-up of work area. Adhering to Organisation Rules, Safety Rules, and Regulations. Demonstrating awareness and understanding of our clients EHS policy and management system whilst understanding the importance of conforming to EHS policies and procedures.
